Firepower Youtube EDU

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone has enabled Youtube for EDU using FMC?  It is asking for a code.  The documentation says you need to sign up for a Youtube EDU account, but I cannot find any documentation on Youtube for this.

Hi Dan,

This link would help you create an EDU account on youtube. Get the UserID (Custom ID) from the account, that would be required while creating rule for EDU filter.

Unfortunately it looks like google has redirected everyone to gsuite admin.  If you click on this link:

http://www.youtube.com/schools

It should go to youtube, but it now redirects everyone to gsuite and the entire system has changed and you cannot get the 22 digit code anymore.   Google support is abysmal, so I have lost all hope that this feature even works anymore.

This will apply to all major manufactures that use or used this system.  I found multiple companies pointing to the same documentation, which is now defunct.  I have a tac case in about this, but I am still waiting for a response.
