FireSight/Defence Center Maximum Interfaces per context

Hi,

i currently have a Cisco ASA 5545 in multimode running several contexts. I have the SFR module added into Defence Center but its not discovering all interfaces within a context. If i add another interface to another context that appears fine. So im just wondering if there a limit on the number of interfaces per context the SFR module or Defence Center can discover.

At a quick count it seem to have around 25/26 interfaces where my ASA context has around 35 interfaces.

Traffic still seems to be routed into Defence center but because I cant discover my interfaces I am unable to assign a zone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi,

Like ASA supports 1024 vlan interfaces there is no such doc which tells how many interfaces are supported in FMC because we have reported a couple of cases where in going above 150 interfaces the FMC does not display them properly.

As a workaround you can add the zones under :

Objects -> Object Management -> Security zones -> Add security zone
