Firewall Migration Tool and FXOS configuration

Hello,

I'm investigate the possibility to migrate ASA to FTD. The target is a Firepower 4115 device.

Is there any specific requirements when the target is a chassis based device like 4100/9300 that also have separate FXOS configuration? 

I'm guessing the migration tool will not be able to migrate the port-channel configuration, since this is configured from Firepower Chassis Manager.

Anything that's setup in the chassis manager (like creation of portchannels) needs to be done manually on the new firewall's Firepower Chassis Manager. Only after you have a running FTD instance with the portchannels created and assigned to it from FCM will it be able to seamlessly accept deployment of the desired configuration from FMC that was created by the FMT.
