Firewall not get into monitor mode

I have cisco pix 520 Firewall and I forgot my firewall password but now I want to reset so I have to get into monitor mode but when I press escape key my firewall is not get into monitor mode. so now how can I get into monitor mode or Are there any Other way to reset the firewall....

First, can you confirm you are using a console cable to connect to the asa?

The only way to reset the enable password is to get into ROMMON mode, and you have to be connected using a serial connection to see the asa boot up.

You should hit the "ESC" key when the countdown starts.

Yes I alreaady tried like that but it is not responding when I press escape key. It always geting boot

Have you tried to use BREAK key?

So, you do see the countdown but it doesn't break it when pressing the key?

Have you tried to use a different keyboard? Or at least confirm that the key works?
