Same issue for us, on FMC2600 running 7.0.4, and virtual FMC running 7.0.4. For whatever reason, everything is ok on our other FMC2600, but running 7.0.1.1

I have the same problem in FMC version 7.1.0.1 / FTD version 7.0.4

mine (FMC 7.0.4) also shows none, it is also showing the wrong country for detected IP addresses (US only connections)

I don't think this is cosmetic issue. We are on 7.0.4 and after installation of Cisco_Firepower_GEODB_Update-2022-09-12-101 FMC is trying to re-install Cisco_Firepower_GEODB_Update-2022-08-23-100 which ends in a endless loop.

The only way to stop this is to copy Cisco_Firepower_GEODB_Update-2022-08-23-100 to FMC and install it via CLI with force flag.

Unfortunately, the force installation does not work for Cisco_Firepower_GEODB_Update-2022-09-12-101.

Are there any news with the bug?

I can share same comment as revenant.

FMC went into continous loop of installing GEODB_Update-2022-08-23-100 due to this bug. Only way to stop it is to force installation of this Oct update.

Cisco TAC is not really helpful to resolve this.

Any idea on when this will be corrected ?

We are running 7.0.2 and are also affected by this.  Any updates?

I was told by TAC that for now, the only way to resolve problem is to do workaround with manually force installation of GEODB_Update-2022-08-23-100.

Estimated time to fix the problem is unknown at this point.

So is the issue just cosmetic as they stated or is it actually impacting Geo-location?

I have the same issue. FMC version 7.0.4. The FMC is trying to install GEODB_Update-2022-08-23-100 version many times during the day.

Try update to the new 2022-09-22-100. It fixed the problem on my systems.

I confirmed it is fixed with the 2022-09-22-100 release. It can be uploaded directly via FMC or downloaded here and then installed:
