FMC Upgrade enquiry

Greetings,

The current version of my FMC for VMware is v7.0.5 build 72 with FX-OS V2.10.1 build 1400.

I am planning now to proceed with the upgrade of FMC. Which version you would recommend for me to proceed with? 

Do i need also to upgrade FTDs with the same version as i will do for the FMCv?

@dimitrios.katsaros 7.4.2 is the current cisco recomended version, so I would suggest upgrading to that version.

What version of software are the FTD's running? The FTD can be the same version or an older version than the FMC, they cannot be a newer version than the FMC. FYI, the oldest FTD version FMC 7.4 can manage is 7.0

Can you please let me know how can i verify the current software version of FTDs either through FMC or CLI?

@dimitrios.katsaros from the FMC goto Devices > Device Management, this will display the version of all your FTD's connected to the FMC.
