FMC Version 6.6.5 not showing up under Updates

Hope someone can shine a bit of light on my query,  We upgraded FMC and sensors from 6.6.1 to 6.6.4 (FMC first and then Sensors)

In FMC only version 6.6.4 was available, i thought this was because FMC only shows the next version as opposed to the latests version, ensures that you go to 6.6.4 then to 6.6.5. Since upgrading to 6.6.4 then clicking on check for updates, its has not downloaded 6.6.5,

is this because 6.6.4 is the final recommended version in the 6.6.x string? if we need to go to 6.6.5 for compliance then i assume we'd need to do this through a manual file upload

Cheers

Hi @PacketSpartan

Hmmm, I don't think that is supported ...

Direct download from Cisco is not supported for:

  • Major releases.

  • Most patches to Version 6.6 or later.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firepower/upgrade/fpmc-upgrade-guide/obtain_upgrade_packages.html#id_69500

So you'd need to manually download from the cisco website and upload the package to the FMC, then install.
