FTD and deploy task (not working)

Hi!

I have fresh started Firepower 1010 with FTD 6.4.0-102 on it. I'm connected to Cisco Smart License service. The issue is I can't submit any changes I did in web interface to running config.

What I do:

1. Make some changes.

2. Press that round grey button named "Deployment". It shows "There are objects ready to be deployed".

3. In window with diff appeared press "DEPLOY NOW" button.

4. Window updated with "Nothing to deploy" message and icon with OK mark.

5. Press cross button to close window.

Expected results:

FP run with new config.

Actual results:

No error message. Deployment history shows COMPLETED status.

Grey button continue to say "There are objects ready to be deployed".

No updates applied.

Am I doing anything wrong? Or what?

It should work as noted in your expected results section. Can you tell us what exactly you have modified in the Firepower Device Manager UI?

Also, I notice you are running the very first release that supported the Firepower 1010 appliance. I would suggest you upgrade to the recommended release (currently 6.6.1).

I believe such a basic thing must work from box. But will upgrade in a day or two anyway.

Upgrade to 6.6.1-91 helped.

I'm depressed. Deploy just don't work from the box. How could it be...

hi,

are you using FDM?

try with a different web browser and clear cache data.
