FTD to ASA reimage

Hi, 

we purchased NGFW 3K series with FTD and now want to reimage it with ASA.

Does it violate the warranty of device?

@KayaaKashyap no it won't, that will be fine.

You will need the relevant entitlement in order to download the software image from the cisco website.

Will it include extra cost?

You just need to have purchased support on the hardware in order to access the website to download the software image.

this is requirement from client, currently they are using ASA firewall which is going to out of life soon. Now they are purchasing new NGFW 1150/3100 (with FTD) series and for sometime they want it with ASA and after few months they will move to FTD.
