FTD version 6.6.3 acce

FTD ver 6.6.3 is running on FPR2110

Logging from Lina is working

Logging from Access Control, all next generation of events are not sent to syslog, there are sent to FMC

Cisco states a reboot will solve the problem. Rebooted and it worked for a while then Access Control logging to syslog stopped.

 

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

What is being done to fix this?

Upon re-occurrence of the issue, I would suggest grabbing t-shoot file from the FMC and the device asap, attach it with the problem description along with the timestamp when the logs stopped to flow to the syslog server, along with the old case # which I'm assuming you opened where you were suggested to reboot and open another TAC case.

 

TAC can go through the TS and analyse why the syslogs stopped.

I did a quick search and wasn't able to find any known defects on 6.6.3
