Hello,

I've just installed our AIP-10 IPS module into a 5510, and the Global Correlation isn't updating.

I've open UDP/53 to an external DNS server and TCP/443 to 204.15.82.17

Updates:

   Status Of Last Update Attempt = Failed

   Time Since Last Successful Update = never

   Counters:

      Update Failures Since Last Success = 146

      Total Update Attempts = 146

      Total Update Failures = 146

   Update Interval In Seconds = 300

   Update Server = update-manifests.ironport.com

   Update Server Address = 204.15.82.17

   Current Versions:

      config = 0

      drop = 0

      ip = 0

      rule = 0

Warnings:

Ping works:

ping 204.15.82.17

What have I done wrong?  We are working on a 60 day trial license key which we buy the annual license key, could it be this?

Thanks

Do you see any event with detailed info ?

Run "show events" from the CLI and check for any Global Coorelation error. Alternatively, take a show-tech and see the main.log, if it has any detailed error with reason of failure.
