HA of ASAv in Azure

Hello Everyone,

I've been trying to deploy ASAv on the edge of Azure network to protect the VMs. I was excited that Cisco and Azure announced the improved support of ASAv on Azure platform, however, after going through the data sheet, it appears HA is still not supported.  I understand this is due to limitation of layer 2 support. Any one knows if there is a workaround for ASAv in Azure scenario, like failover on a VM level or we should just assume everything in the cloud should be zero fault.

Always try and design systems to be tolerant of failure.

I suspect (but don't know) the closest solution will be to deploy two separate ASAvs and to use a front end load balancer to spread the load between them.  Just make sure the load balancer sticks the same sessions to the same ASAv.
