You would need to provide more information for us to be able to assist you.

  • Is this physical or virtual FMC?
  • Is the FMC a standalone or HA setup?
  • Where are you seeing the FMC as disabled?
  • Was there any change performed before the issue was observed?
  • What version is the FMC running?
  • Are you seeing any other errors?
  • Could you provide a screenshot of the error?

Is this physical or virtual FMC? Virtual FMC
Is the FMC a standalone or HA setup? Standalone

What version is the FMC running? 7.2.4
Are you seeing any other errors? yes
Could you provide a screenshot of the error? mentioned

can you please suggest some solution

ASA-5516X
Deployment failed due to timeout communication with the device. If the problem persists after retrying, contact Cisco TAC.

The FMC address must be able to reach the ASA 5516-X management interface address via tcp/8305 (and vice versa - communications are initiated both ways).

when I grep this

netstat -pan | grep 8305
(Not all processes could be identified, non-owned process info
will not be shown, you would have to be root to see it all.)
tcp 0 0 X.X.X.X:8305 X.X.X.X:58675 ESTABLISHED -
tcp 0 0 X.X.X.X:8305 X.X.X.X:56469 ESTABLISHED -

on the CLI go into expert mode and enter:

pmtool status | grep -i down

pmtool status | grep -i sftunn
