My firewall is getting an SNMP: SNMP_write: unable to generate a syslog trap. THis is causing it to be overloaded and I can't do anything to get it to stop. I have done a reboot.
What makes this real bad it the firewall is in a data center 2 hours away.
Help if you can.

Seems like some attack and the box is running out of memory to generate messages.
If you have a line like this:
snmp-server enable traps syslog
I'd remove it.
conf t
no
snmp-server enable traps syslog

I will give this a try.
