HIgh Availability between ASA5520 and Radware LinkProof Load Balancers.

Hi,

I have to correct a failover issue between the Radware Load balancers and our ASA5520 firewalls without using VRRP.

Due to politics, I am faced with either making this solution work or pulling the Radware out of our environment and going with BGP/GLBP, which at this point seems to over complicate my job. Attached is the topolgy brief. Is it possible to run ospf between the two devices without using a layer 2 switch to facilitate VRRP?

Hi,

Both of your firewalls and linkproof are physically connected to each other? Do you have a existing core (main) switch in the network? It may possible to run OSPF and it is recommended to utilize existing switches for this matter.
