For some reason I cannot connect to the PDM on this PIX to configure it for VPN's. Also, it was(supposedly) right out of the box. Help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hi there,
When you first get a PIX you need to go through the console initial config. Only after that you can log using PDM.
Connect to console, reboot the PIX. It will prompt you for password, hit ENTER.
Then will prompt you for initial config, choose Y (YES).
You will need to provide basic setup for the PDM to work: machine name, domain, clock (all for SSH/HTTPS key used by PDM), allowed PDM hosts and to change the password.
After that connect with a computer to inside interface and open PDM: https://IP
Please rate if this helped.
Regards,
Daniel

Thanks for the help but, I figured out that the distributor failed to mention that the PIX was actually used. But, they decided to sell it to me as "new". Go figure...
