How to install ASA OS on FPR2120 appliance ?

Hi,

We have just received new FPR2120 appliance and we aim to install ASA OS on it.

We tried to follow this link "Cisco Firepower 2100 Getting Started Guide"

but we could not reach ASA OS using https://192.168.45.1/admin address. and "connect asa" command is not working.

we only have access to chassis manager using https://192.168.45.45.

could anybody help me install ASA OS ?

Actually, I discovered that on https://192.168.45.45., i get access to FDM and not chassis manager...

still could not find where can In install ASA OS..

For any other readers you should be careful to order the appliance with the desired OS. Chance are if you ordered it as FTD you also bought and paid for FTD licensing which is completely lost when you reimage to ASA. Also ASA on Firepower does not have any IPS capability thus failing to block many modern threats.
