Hi,

how to test failover for PIX, ASA and ACE

For PIX and ASA you can unplug one interface and see if the boxes failover by doing "sh failover".

You can also do "no fail active" on the active box and see if the other one takes over.

I hope it helps.

For ACE:

1/ loginto active ACE, force failover

or

2/ press Reset button on the Active ACE
