Can someone help me with the steps of Updating Cisco IPS Signatures manually and automatically.
What is the difference between both of them.

Platform: ASA5585-SSP-IPS60
OS Version: 2.6.29.1
and
Platform: ASA-SSM-40
OS Version: 2.6.29.1

Those version numbers are not familiar. Please share the output of "show module".
In general, you need to have a current subscription license to update signatures (either manually or automatically) on the legacy IPS platforms.
