How to verify if installed License-key file is trial?

How do I verify the real license not trial version install on IPS 7?  Thanks.

Check the expiration date. Trial licenses are only for 30 or 60 days, purchased licenses are for 1 year.

On the CLI you can enter "show version" to see this:

The license that I am talking about is the Global Correlation.  Is that a separate license that I need to purchase?  I am having a problem of Global Correlation updates.  I was able to go out to ironport website (204.x.x.x) , but not going back.  Thanks.

There is only one license for the IPS sensors. If you have a valid license you should be able to connect to the Global Correlation updates, just like you should be able to pull the signature updates.
