Hello,
I´ve got a question about the best way to setup a Cisco ASA Transparent-Mode in combination with a CX Module. My main Problem is the managementaccess to the firewall itself and to the cx module. In the moment the asa is connected to the network as shown in the attached picture. But with this setup I can´t access the cx module for management. I will try to connect the management port to the network (without configuring it with a Layer3 address) but I don´t know, if I then will be able to access the CX- Module...
There´s only one subnet available and the ASA only allows me to use one IP address from the same subnet on the whole machine.
My current Setup is pretty much the same like this:
What are the best practises here to get management access the CX Module Webinterface?
Best Regards
Sebastian

Hey guys,
I connected Management0/0 to the internal network and this setup is working (see picture attached). I can access 10.250.9.4 without an ip configuration on the management interface. So for the ASA CXSC Module, the Ma0/0 Interface is something like a bridge.
Best Regards
Sebastian
