I am taking over a network where the previous Engineer has left the company. My previous experiance with PIX has always been command line. This one though has only been managed via https:

When I try and access the PIX, using IE6.0 w/ SP2, I just get a blank stare back from the new ie window.

Any suggestions?

Make sure you have an exception defined in your pop-up blocker software. PIX Device Manager (PDM) launches a java pop-up window to manage the PIX with a web browser.

I have disabled the POP-UP Blocker.

I get the java pop-up with the picture in it. Under the picture it says "Loading the PIX Device Manager. Please wait..." The hour glass just keeps on turning, and nothing else.

What version of java do you have installed on your PC? Also, what version of PDM is being loaded from the firewall?

PDM = 3.0

Java = none.....Hmmmm, this could be the problem.
