HTTPS and PDM on a PIX 515

I tried to connect to my pix vai the web page and I was not sucessfull.

I tried Https://192.168.1.1 but I was not lucky.

My question is :

Do I need to have Java or any other software installed on my PC prior WEB interface between my PC and the PIX.

Have you got http server enabled on your pix, i.e.

http server enable

http inside

http 192.168.1.10 255.255.255.255 inside

Please let me know if you have any other options. I think is my PC. I just installed Java on my PC and still not work.

hi vitancr,

is your PDM version compatible with your IOS ?? if not , you need to upload a version which is compatible..

other important thing is enabling http, which you already have...

try with some other laptop or PC using the same IP address.. may be there is some problem with the present PC... it might happen sometime...

My FW 515 is 6.6(3) and my PDM is 3.0.

I installed JAva and rebooted the PC and now I can log into the PIX using PDM.
