Identifying users with CSC SSM on MS terminal server environment

Hi all, can someone help me to understand how the module CSC SSM (from TrendMicro) is able to identify users on a terminal server?

If I have understood correctly it make a pair user/ip so it can't manage multiple user with a single IP.

Can a MS proxy server or ISA help me?
