hi:
Im some confused with that, us IDS was failing suddenly(we restarted it to work again), but the las time that failed and we restarted, appeared a message:
Error: Cannot communicate with authenticationApp (getUserAccountConfig). Please
contact your system administrator.
Would you like to run cidDump?[no]:
we put it "NO", and after that the IDS stoped tu work.
is somebody could suggest me anything agout this issue.
regards

Hi,
As dipicted by you bug id CSCsc77289 which is resolved and verified by cisco development team in 5.0(6)and 5.1(2).
I am still fasing the cidDump issue in 7.0(1)E3. What could be the problem as this problem still persist. Expecting more such inputs.
Thanks
Amit Marathe.

I see that message when I attempt to log into a sensor that has not yet finished booting. Are you getting this message from a sensor that has had time to fully boot (5 min worst case)?
