IDS discovery fails

I have a small number of IDS's that fail discovery.

The fail description is:

"Fail to discover policy for signatureDefinition component. Detail: Error encountered while generating

policy IpsSignaturefor instance sig0."

I have scaled down the polices to discover from the default ones of Inventory/ Platform settings/ and IPS

and still no luck. Devices have also been rebooted multiple times with no luck. Any quick fix or is a reimage in

order?

I think you are hitting a bug

may be

CSM discovery fail when Signature ID 50000 or later is modified

Please open a case with cisco TAC to get the right support.
