IDSM-2 Block Connections

Can IDSM-2 Block Connections on FWSM vis Shun? If not can it Block on 6500? I have Host Block working on FWSM with no problem but not the connection Blocking.

Can someone post some config example of Connection Blocking please.

Here we go

Basically just need to:

• Set signature or policy to block host
• Enable blocking
• Device Login Profile to log on the router, ASA or SwitchL3
• Configure de blocking devices
• Set the L3 device blocking interface.

Its pretty straight forward just look out on for the pre-acl or pos-acl bloking and it will work just fine.
