I have a pair of HA firewall 5525-X. It is running Cisco ASA Firewall with CX software. As CX is now out of sales, we are planning to migrate to Firepower.
Based on Cisco website:
Image for Firepower software is as below.
asasfr-5500x-boot-5.3.1-152.img - boot image
asasfr-sys-5.3.1-152.pkg - software image
I go to Cisco Download website and I only see image with format below:
Cisco_Network_Sensor_Patch-6.2.3.4-42.sh.REL.tar
I am very confused.
Where can I find the boot image and software image stated in the web link above? Is the procedures indicated from web link above still valid?

5.3.1 is still on the downloads site - you have to expand the tree on the left to see it.
However there's no reason to install that 4+ year old release.
Instead start with the 6.2.3 boot image and install package. Then patch it to the latest (currently 6.2.3.4) release.

Also make sure your ASA and ASDM software are current first. The recommended releases are currently ASA 9.8(2) interim build 38 and ASDM 7.9.2(152)

Hi Marvin:
Thanks you very much for your advice.
Now I see where was my problem, I look at version 6.2.3.4, 6.2.3.3 but didn't see the img and pkg file.
Now I see it is available in 6.2.3
Appreciate your advice.
Now I can proceed with my work using version ASA 9.8 and Firepower 6.2.3.
