Installing 168 Bit DES Activation Key on Cisco PIX 520 ver 5.3(2)

Looking for a way in which to install a 168 bit DES key on the Cisco PIX 520 ver 5.3(2), without having to reload the code. The only instructions I have been able to locate discuss how to do this at the time of code upgrade, but I want to leave my PIX at it's current version 5.3(2)

There isn't another way to update/upgrade the activation code. You can however do the upgrade with the current version of software. Meaning, perform an upgrade with version 5.3(2) on your PIX running 5.3(2). The software remains the same version, and you have the ability to update the activation code.
