Interface shutdown on pix 515

I have a Pix 515 with two inside interfaces. The second one, (ethernet2) , is "administratively shutdown". How do I bring this interface up? Version 6.1.

You can do

interface ethernet2 auto

Thanks, the interface came up but "line protcol is down". Working cable is connected and on other end a host with same subnet address is configured. Can ping interface successfully from inside pix.

I replaced the crossover cable and everything is up now.
