Interoperability issues between PIX & Raptor Firewalls

Trying to set up LAN-LAN VPN between two sites over The Internet.One site has Cisco PIX 520 V5.23 and the other has Raptor Firewall V6.5.Can anyone offer best configuration design or caveats about trying to connect through these different firewall products.I have been able to bring up the VPN tunnel between our sites with IPSec manual keys but can get no further using Cisco Documentation.Would prefer using IPSec with Pre-shared keys,DES & MD5.

Well, my question for you is can you terminate at a Cisco router on the other end or do you have to use the Raptor? I don’t see why you can’t accomplish this as long as Raptor conforms to the IPSec specification. I’d suggest replacing the Raptor with another PIX. It’s always best to use the same equipment on both ends to improve performance and simplify installations. Hope this helps
