Can I have all IPS functionality in my 4215 after upgrading its software to 5.0

The short answer is "it depends..."
If your sensor is equiped with the 4FE expansion card (Cisco part no. IDS-4FE-INT=), you can.
If it isn't so equiped, you will have to add one in order to use the in-line features.
