After upgrading from ver 4.1 to 5.0(1) it worked for about hour before it went to power down mode. Now I can't communicate with it at all.

What version of 4.X was previously loaded? Did you do an upgrade to 5.0 or a reimage? How long was the idsm2 running 4.X before going to 5.0? Do you have a service account that you can log into or is that also blocked?

Can you also tell us if you were running CatOS or IOS and what version?

I got it working again.What I did was soon after I insert the blade before it goes to power down mode I did a
hw-module module 8 reset cf:1
After that I could get into maintenance mode and reimage with 5.0(1) again.
IDSM-2 is working again for now.
