IPSec and SSL VPN Licenses

We're upgrading from a Pix 506e to an ASA 5510.  After the upgrade we are going to configure and use SSL VPN for our user base.  We are also going to continue to support users that use IPSec VPN.

I wanted to know what licenses I will need to support both types of VPN access.

Hi,

The ASA comes ready for IPsec VPN. Depending on the model it supports up to 250 or 750 IPsec connections for example.

The SSL functionality is handle by license. All models come ready for 2 SSL connections, if you need to increase the amount of SSL connections you are required to purchase the correct license.
