Hi,
first post is the cisco WAAS module available for the ASA platform or just Routers ?
Any help appreciated,

True, it only runs as moduel in the ISR routers (2800 and 3800) series, but you can always consider using the WAVE-274 at the edge in an inline deployment.
It also allows you to have one or two Windows virtual servers as edge domain controller (for example).
WCCP is supported on the ASA so you can use WCCP to redirect traffic to a WAAS appliance and let WAAS optimize the traffic before it goes into a tunnel.
