Hi,

I wonder if you are aware of known issues on installing VMWare servers behind a firewall.

I have received a call concerning connection/network instability problem for VMWare servers installed in a DMZ. Problem is the server can't take to the adjacent VMWare server exists in the same security zone, but they do not have any problem on connecting to servers in other security zones.

It could be helpful to say, there is no switch security rules applied, like private-vlan or switch-port security

Appreciate your expertise.

Thanks

Sam

Try the global ASA command:

same-security-traffic permit intra-interface

Best I can do with the little amount of detail you've provided. Any further help you need, it may be worth you posting some connectivity information and ACL rules, etc.
