latest VDB update on defense center version 5.3.1

Hi , I'm just wondering if we can manually update the lastest VDB version for this management center(version 5.3.1)

Hi,

You can manually download the VDB updates from Cisco software central and install or from the FMC system updates page check for updates and install the latest VDB from FMC itself.

Thanks Abheesh, I've failed to manually install VDB to old version of defense center(version 6 below) so i'm not sure if I can install it without upgrading the defense center.

Yes version 6.X or later is required for Latest VDB.

You need to upgrade the FMC to install the latest VDB.
