Hello,

i don't know if this is supported yet, but i am trying to launch ASDM from a pix 515E PIX Version 7.0(6) and asdm-501 with no luck. i have already installed the ASDM and when tying from the ASDM launcher it will disappear. When trying to run ASDM as java applet it will stuck on (Do not close this window.

Cisco ASDM 5.0 for PIX will start in another window. Closing this browser window will cause Cisco ASDM to exit.)

I have managed the certificate in the java preferences and added the  ip address to trusted sites.

Java version 8 update 25

java console output:

Oh man, I am pretty sure this is a good old Java issue. You would have to find the release notes for that version of ASDM and find out which version of Java it supports.

thanks Neno.

Yes it was a java issue and now the problem fixed by downgrading to java (TM) 6 update 3.

Glad to hear that you were able to resolve the issue! Also, thank you for taking the time to share the solution with rest of us! (+5 from me) :)
