Limiting website bandwdith

We have a fairly standard config of internet router and ASA firewall providing public websites.

We would like to limit website bandwdith to specific internet ip address.

Is it better to implement such access rules in the firewall or on the internet router.

Dave,

Well it is difficult for me to comment whether it is better to do it on a router or firewall but I can tell you we can very well limit the bandwidth on the firewall by using the police command, if you want to know more about it, here is a document for it:

Let me know if you have any questions regading it.

Thanks,

Varun
