Currently Cisco supports it's Windows endpoint clients to work from as part of a private cloud deployment, It has been mentioned that supporting Linux is on the roadmap.
When will this be available?

Linux on Private Cloud is part of the Private Cloud 2.4 release which is slated for the August 2017 timeframe.
