Hello Janardhana,

Here is a guide to configure the same: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vpndevc/ps2030/products_configuration_example09186a00805a2e04.shtml

Use this to get more info of the syslogs recieved : https://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/asa80/system/message/ASA80log.pdf

Hope this helps.

Chirag

To add above post, as per document, this is what you will require:

logging mail severity_level
logging recipient-address email_address

Hi ,

Thanks for your response.

Here i need know, Is i need to maintain one SNMP server ????

My customer doen't have any SNMP server. He wants to know loging into the

firewall directly from firewall to his mail ID.

Whenever any person from outside login into the firewall then firewall needs

to send one log message to customer mail ID.

Hello Janardhana,

We don't need a SNMP server, we need to have a SMTP server which ASA can access. The SMTP server will enable the ASA to send emails. All the syslogs will be send to email id. You need to set the right logging level and disable logs of your choice to limit the number of emails.

Hope this helps.
