login issues with Cisco ASDM

Hi there,

I cannot login through Cisco ASDM. I have the error saying "unable to launch device manager from "  Can someone suggest how to proceed? Thanks

Hello Krishna,

Let follow the next steps

1. Can you ping the ASA?

2. Is http enable on the ASA listening on the network you are coming from? check this with sh run http

3. ASDM version

4.Java version

5.Have you tried adding the ASA to the java security exceptions ?

It is working now. It is an issue with Java version and added the url to the java security exceptions. Thanks a lot.
