Hi,

It is same as that of a Manual NAT. The only difference is the Priority of this. It is evaluated at the last after the Auto NAT.

Also , in terms of Syntax:- If has additional after-auto keyword.

nat (inside,outside) after-auto source static obj-10.1.2.27 obj-209.165.202.129 destination static obj-10.76.5.0 obj-10.76.5.0

Thanks Vibhore....

In which scenario we can use it.

Hi Mahesh,

There is no fixed scenario where this NAT should be used.

It depends on the requirement and most importantly the priority/sequence in which you want a NAT to be applied for the traffic.

It works the same way as the Manual NAT and only thing the is different is priority.

Normally , we use the Auto and Manual NAT section only in the confgiuration but if you have a requirement to use a Catch all NAT or something like that , then this NAT can be used. This would only be used when all the above sctions of NAT have been checked and the traffic has not matched any policy.
