Manual Upgrade of IPS 4520 cause network hiccup?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to find an answer on this before I go ahead and perform the upgrade. I've been asked to manually upgrade the signatures on our IPS devices as we were behind due to a Sensor Softward version issue. If I perform the upgrade of the signature package, will this cause the sensor to reboot?

I haven't worked on these for a while, but my recollection is no, it will not cause a sensor reboot.
