Mismatch in port status in ASA

Hi,

I connected cables to Gig0/0, Gig0/2 and Gig0/3 in ASA firewall, but the command "show interface ip brief" shows that Gig0/0, Gig0/1 and Gig0/2 ports are UP.

Eventhough there is no port configuration in Gig0/3 (port is shutdown mode as per configuration), the traffic is flowing through that port.

I have upgarded ASA software and tested, but the issue persists.

Will it be a hardware issue or firmware issue?

Are you sure you are ssh'd into the same ASA that you attached a picture of?

The photo does indeed show a mismatch as you indicate.

However it also shows SIX physical interfaces (0/0-0/5) while your show command only shows FOUR interfaces.
