Hello Cisco Community,
Perhaps I am in the wrong forum. However, I wanted to ask roughly, is it acceptable to mount a FPR-2110 into an Ortronics 4 post rack using rack-mount brackets alone?
I am thinking that it will be top-heavy and lean down in the back. Following this guide, it notes that the slide rails are optional: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firepower/2100/hw/guide/b_install_guide_2100/mount_and_connect.html
Otherwise, I'm thinking we'll get the FPR2K-SLIDE-RAILS (Slide rail kit) to ensure the firewall is mounted securely.
S/N of Otronics rack: OR-MM67SVR
I appreciate any and all guidance.
Thank you,
-Jake B.

Bump
Am I better off using slide rails, or just the mount-brackets alone (which might cause the firewall to lean down a little bit) ?

Another bump
Does anyone in this forum have experience mounting Cisco firewalls into a rack, and could suggest best practice?
Thanks very much
