Hello,
I need to know about the packet flow between the contexts and through the asa when multiple context is enabled.
> ASA version used : 9.1
> Multiple context
> Two context used
We are going to setup a new environment in which ASa will be used as the internal firewall.

Packets will not flow in between the contexts on the ASA. Think of them as two separate firewalls....because they are.

Hello Colin,
If Packets will not flow in between the two contexts, then how the dynamic routing will be used.
Will dynamic routing work on a single context only.
If yes, then how will the inter context (with shared interface) communication work.
Can you please share a link taht clarifies this and give an explanation on this also please.

Dynamic routing is used just like any other two routers. An interface on each ASA (shared interface also works) will need to be in a common subnet and an IGP configured. They will then peer and share routes.

Could you please a link explaining the configuration and the packet flow.
