Multiple Login Messages.

Hi,

I have a Cisco ASA firewall and when i login (only once) via "ASDM" console, i see multiple login attempts (login attempts with interval of 1 minute) in the firewall logs.

1. I want to know why this is happening.

2. How to fix this problem.

In order to help diagnose this problem we would need to see the configuration file and the error message you are receiving.

hi,

the multiple login attempts which you see in syslogs in usual.

the asdm and asa exchange a lot of information while the attempt is made .

the various encapsulation algorithms are exchanged and a common one is negotiated to exchange the further info.

so,it's pretty normal.

no issues.
