Network upgrade in progress to two VSS core devices. We need a firewall too. Is there any integrated firewall solution or two separate firewall devices is the only possible redundant solution ? dont know if this makes any sense lol
You can connect firewalls to VSS with redundancy using ethernet portchannels easily enough; I do this myself. If you need redundancy on the firewalls as well as the switches then you will need two firewalls, yes.
