Network Discovery OpenSuse, SLES host identification.

I have several servers running  under:

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP3  (x86_64)
3.0.93-0.8-default

and

openSUSE 12.3
3.7.10-1.32-desktop

I faced with difficulties what OS to define for this servers and what Vulnerabilities to apply.

For exemple, the latest version for openSUSE is: Vendor=SUSE, AG. , Product=openSUSE, Major=11

The latest version for SLES is: Vendor=SuSE , Product=SLES, Major=10.

I will be grateful for any advice.

Much easier to let FireSIGHT do this for you.  For best results you sensor(s) should be as close to the hosts as possible (fewest hops).

In my case FireSight defined server's OS as:
Google Android 2.3.3, 2.3.4, 2.3.5, 4.0.3, 4.0.4, 4.1, 4.2

CentOS Linux 6.3, 6.4

Ubuntu Linux 11.04, 12.10, 13.04
